Other manufacturers may use hair that has been stripped of the cuticle to force unnatural direction. Remy hair is essentially Virgin hair, but it may have been chemically lightened, tinted or permed.

The transparent Mono mesh top shows the natural scalp color and allows multi-directional styling.
