Long Hair StyleLonger wigs fall below the shoulder and tend to emphasize greater sex appeal. Longer wigs tend to be heavier in weight and warmer in cooler climates. They generally are slightly more expensive than shorter styles and tend to be more long flowing styles. Longer wigs require larger amounts of wig cleaning and care products to be used and can take longer to dry.

European Human HairEuropean hair is considered the best hair in the world for wig making because of it's strength and texture. This type of hair is the rarest of all. This has nothing to do with European races; it has simply to do with the properties of the hair fibers. VIRGIN HAIR: This is hair which has not been chemically permed, tinted or processed to remove the cuticle, only sanitized and blended for color. If you are purchasing a Virgin Hair wig make sure it is REMI or REMI HAIR. This means that the hair has been harvested with the cuticle going in one direction so that the possibility of tangling is minimized. This special handling takes more time and is one of the factors that make this hair more expensive.

Cap Size: AVERAGEAVERAGE SIZES are 21½ inches to 22¼ inches. 95% of wigs are made to fit these sizes, but can be stretched or adjusted down about an inch either way to accommodate smaller or larger head sizes. Be aware that cap sizes vary from brand to brand, and you should make sure before you buy that the cap is right for your size. Some caps will stretch better than others, but most caps can be made smaller.

French Top Cap

Hair is hand-tied into fine nylon Monofilament mesh, and then a layer of flesh-colored silk material is added underneath, creating the appearance of a scalp with hair growing out of it. This is a wonderful feature as it solves the problem often encountered by the difference in complexion colors with skin tops. Silk material may be colored with strong tea to match darker scalp colors.
